Happy Birthday Zoe

So Zoe’s birthday is today, and she’s spending it in Naples, Italy with a friend from her Masters program. I got this text from her this morning:

I was up on a very foggy Mt. Vesuvius when I got your text. We hiked up with 2 aging hippies from Minnesota [her homestate] who played me Happy Birthday on their Mandolins.

The text goes on, but it was truncated in transit. Damn, I really wanted to hear the end of that story – it’s certainly not an experience you get every day. Happy Birthday Z!
