Back from HKG

hkGot back in from Hong Kong yesterday, and all I can say is wow. What a city. Of course, I did have the good fortune to stay with my friends GK and MK in their wonderful apartment up in the midlevels overlooking the city (the picture is the view from their living room!), which was a really special treat. I had no trouble living it up while I was there, eating some very delicious Dim Sum as well as partaking in some delicious Sushi and Italian food as well for good measure. I also had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people while I was there – the city is absolutely filled with people from all over the world. It’s an fascinating place, you have traditional Chinese culture mixed in with a heavy dose of British influences and businesses, all rolled into a bustling cosmopolitan ultra-modern city. It’s actually a wonderful combination. During my visit, I was able to take in the sights of Victoria Peak, as well as explore some interesting parts of the city and neighboring Kowloon. GK even took me out to party out in Lan Kwai Fong, which is just craaazy… Anyway, back in Beijing now; we now return to our regularly scheduled programming…
