Arlo Macgyver?

Zoe has been talking up the name “Arlo” for a baby boy for years now, which I have mostly gone along with, since it’s a pretty decent name in my opinion. I do have some reservations about it now and then, of course, as sometimes I worry that it might be a bit too “sensitive” and not tough enough for a boy (of course I’m one to talk). So after some thought, last night I counter-suggested the name “MacGyver”. A brilliant choice in my opinion for all the obvious reasons. The namesake was not only tough and adventurous, but uber-intelligent and resourceful too. But she wasn’t going for it.

I’ll keep working on it – who knows, maybe I can sneak it in for a middle name or something.
