Live Free or Die
I remember New Hampshire with great fondness, having spent four years there for college. It’s a not-so-secret ambition of mine to retire to a quiet little town in New Hampshire or Vermont (preferably Vermont) and just live a simple life with simple pleasures and hang out with some friendly people amidst the mountains of New England.
I just returned from a weekend trip out there with the family to attend a wedding of a childhood friend and also let Arlo hang out a little with his grandparents, since they attended as well. We really only had one full day to enjoy out there, but it was just spectacular scenery and only served to remind me what I just love about the area. I had never actually been to this part of the state before and got to see Franconia Notch State Park, which was quite beautiful.
It’s been perhaps 12 years since I’ve been back, I hope my next visit is much sooner.
