About Moon
I’ve busted my ass my whole life, it’s the closest thing to an identity I have. I’m a believer in authenticity, integrity, compassion and courage. I strive. As for the more mundane details:
I’m an alumnus of Dartmouth, dropped out of Harvard Law, worked for white shoe law-firms and a large hedge fund in NYC, and generally tried to figure out what I wanted to do before moving to Boulder, CO and riding the dot-com boom all the way to starting a company with some associates that eventually became The Active Network (NYSE:ACTV).
After that experience, I consulted and worked with a few other start-ups, and lived and in London for a few years as well, which culminated in me pursuing a life long dream to dedicate a year to studying martial arts in China, where I achieved certification as a coach of a rather esoteric, but fascinating internal martial art called Yiquan.
Now, I live in Chicago with my wife and child, and I’m having a lot of fun trying to start a new web development consultancy. After having robust growth as an solo operation, I’ve recently taken on a partner, and now we’re having a blast trying to keep up with the work.
Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
